Invest in European Equities aiming at growth whilst limiting downside risk
Neuflize Optimum (formerly NOAM Optimum) is a diversified fund that invests primarily in European equities using a fundamental approach, without any benchmark constraints, by selecting the sectors offering the best growth prospects and adapting the proportion invested in equities to take advantage of market volatility.
The objective of Neuflize Optimum is to offer an absolute performance by participating in market increases while mitigating the portfolio against market downturns.
The fund aims to outperform, on an annual basis, 6-month Euribor +2% whilst keeping volatility below that of the European stock market indices. Equity exposure varies according to market trends. The use of financial instruments (index futures) gives the fund a high degree of flexibility so that net equity exposure can vary between 0%-100% based on the manager's views on equity markets. In line with the low volatility objective of the fund, net equity exposure typically varies between 0-50%.
